Co operative challenge!

We had fifteen minutes to build a town together! We had to talk to each other to plan our town, and decide together what we needed in our town. We have a lido, school, helipad, river over a bridge, supermarket, rest home and houses.

Measuring tallest to shortest!

We measured our learning buddy using string. We learnt that to measure properly, what you are measuring have to start at the same place. In the picture you can see all the strings had to touch the step and be stretched straight.

We found out that Hunter was the tallest in the class and Bradie was the shortest.

Mailla's Mystery Kete Clues

The Phonics Song

We have some children who are learning how to skip count by missing some numbers and looking at the patterns! We are practicing counting in 2's 5's and 10's! Phew! Have fun practicing at home!!

Thinking Challenge!

* that it could stand by itself
* choose materials that you think will help it be the tallest
* measure yours and others to see who has the tallest one

Mrs Lunn has made us a new red tablecloth for our spare table.  Here is a photo of Mailla and Layla trying it out!

Because the new Tv has moved in we have had to change our classroom around!  It is taking us all a bit of getting used to!

Ch ch chocolate!

Thursday was a delicious day in LC 4.  We were learning about the blend Ch. Mrs Lunn helped us make chocolates! We had to melt the chocolate melts and put them into a mould.  We made Easter chocolates! We also sang a song about the blend Ch.  We had a great day!
